What is bottled water?
Water is classified as 'bottled water" or "drinking water" if it meets all applicable federal and state standards, is sealed in a sanitary container and is sold for human consumption.

What are the types of bottled water?
1. Artesian Water/Artesian Well Water
2. Drinking Water
3. Mineral Water
4. Purified Water
5. Sparkling Water
6. Spring Water
7. Well Water

How do I know my bottled water is safe?
The bottled water industry is regulated on three levels:  federal, state and trade association.  U.S. Food & Drug Administration regulations offer consumers assurance that the bottled water they purchase is stringently regulated, tested and of the highest quality.
-
(According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, bottled water has never been responsible for an outbreak of waterborne illness, including the waterborne parasite found in some tap water, Cryptosporidium, which is caused by animal waste found in rivers, streams and lakes.)

How is bottled water different from tap water?
Consistent quality and taste are two of the principle differences between tap and bottled water.  While our bottled water originates from protected sources (75% from underground aquifers and springs) tap water comes mostly from rivers and lakes.  The EPA has reported that hundreds of tap water sources have failed to meet minimum standards. Pine Hollow Springs II bottled water has no chlorine or harmful chemicals.

How long can I store bottled water?
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has not established a shelf life for bottled water.  Bottled water can be used indefinately if stored properly.  You should store your bottled water in a cool, dry place at room temperature, away from chemicals, cleaning products, gasoline, paint thinners and other toxic chemicals.
